Every weekday starting at 3p, Dutch plays all of your favorite Classic Hits from the 70s, 80s and 90s. With over 13-years of professional on-air experience and a lifetime of being a classic rock fan, Dutch not only feeds your need for Led Zeppelin, Journey, Tom Petty, The MIGHTY Van Halen and more, but he’ll also fill your noggin’ with current and “On This Day in Rock and Roll History” trivia with his savant-like knowledge of the format. You may also find yourself stopping in your tracks and thinking to yourself, “Did he REALLY just say that?” Yep. He probably did.
When he’s not on the radio, Dutch is a successful advertising consultant, copywriter and voice over artist. He also plays guitar and sings, both solo acoustic and in the popular 80s cover band “Mighty McFly.” He lives in Monkey Junction with his American Staffordshire Terrier, Rufus Xavier Sasparilla.
Hawk’n Around Town – Every day at 4:20, Dutch give you the run-down on which local musician is playing where. You can catch-up with local favorites like Jeremy Norris, Machine Gun and Bibis Ellison before they blow-up and you have to pay 50.00 plus a surcharge to see them in stadiums across America. Birds of a Feather – Fridays in the 4p hour, Dutch will play two songs back-to-back, when you figure out what the songs have in common, call him at 910.343.HAWK, be the 7th caller with the correct answer and you’ll win the prize.
Kick in the Weekend! – It’s loud, it’s raucous, and it’s the light at the end of the week’s tunnel - FIVE O’CLOCK ON FRIDAY! The music’s more up-tempo and you’ll have to watch your speed on your drive home. With occasional help from “The Front Desk Hottie,” “Sales Hotties Melissa, Kelly and Matthew” and soon YOU, even though he works a paltry 15-hours per week, Dutch looks forward to this just as much as you! If you win a contest, you can’t win anything else again for 30 days. One winner, per household for 30 days. You must be at least 18 years of age and no purchase is necessary to enter any contest. All contests are open to the general public except employees of Cumulus Broadcasting, any other media outlet, participating sponsors, their immediate family or household members.
Cumulus broadcasting reserves the right to exclude anyone from any contest and may change or modify the rules at any time without advance notice. Cumulus Broadcasting will issue IRS form 1099 for any prizes awarded that exceed a value of $600. Winners are responsible for all federal, state and local taxes for all prizes. All prizes are awarded “as is” and cannot be exchanged.
Cumulus Broadcasting is not responsible for failure to deliver any sponsor-provided prize and assumes no liability for use, loss damage or injury connected to any contest or prize.
